1. Who we are
Kadapa Cars, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, is the “Data Fiduciary” for the personal data described in this policy, as defined in India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). 2. What this website collects
This website is a simple information site. It does not collect personal data from you.
- No cookies: the site does not set any cookies, whether for advertising, tracking or anything else.
- No accounts or uploads: there is no login and nowhere to upload documents.
- Forms stay on your device: the booking form (dates, times, destination, name and note) runs entirely in your browser. It only builds the text of a WhatsApp message. Nothing you type is sent to us or saved on a server. It reaches us only if you choose to send that message.
- Remembering your dates: to save you re-typing, your chosen dates and times may be kept in your browser’s temporary session storage until you close the tab. This information never leaves your device.
3. Hosting, security logs and visitor statistics
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages by Cloudflare, Inc. When you visit, Cloudflare automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. It uses this information to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. If Cloudflare detects suspicious traffic, it may use a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors from bots. We do not use this information to identify you.
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and only shows us totals. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
4. The vehicle photo
The vehicle photo on this website is loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org), run by the Wikimedia Foundation. To show it, your browser connects to Wikimedia’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. Read the Wikimedia Foundation privacy policy.
5. Information you share with us
When you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we receive the information you choose to give us, such as your name, mobile number, the dates and destination of your trip and anything else you write. If you go ahead with a booking, we also receive the details needed for the rental agreement, such as your driving licence details.
6. WhatsApp (Meta)
We take bookings and answer questions through WhatsApp, a service of WhatsApp LLC, part of Meta Platforms, Inc. Your messages to us are end-to-end encrypted. WhatsApp itself processes your account information and information about how you use the app, under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, you can call or email us instead.
7. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiries and to confirm, change or cancel your booking.
- To prepare the rental agreement and hand over and receive the vehicle.
- To deal with anything connected with your trip, such as tolls, traffic fines or damage.
- To meet our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not send promotional messages unless you ask us to.
8. Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only when necessary: with insurers or repairers if there is a claim, with authorities when the law requires it, and with the service providers described above (Cloudflare for hosting and WhatsApp/Meta for messaging).
9. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for your enquiry, your booking and any issue connected with it, and for as long as the law requires.
10. Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023
You have the right to:
- get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed or updated;
- have your data erased when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it);
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to; and
- raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.

11. Security
This website is served only over encrypted HTTPS with strict security settings, and it does not store your personal data.

This website links to services such as WhatsApp and Wikimedia Commons. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the way we handle personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
